Founding cohort · first ~10 IR35 firms
Be one of the first 10 contractor accountants AI knows by name.
We're building the UK's first AI-visibility benchmark for IR35 & contractor-specialist accountants. The founding firms get the deepest version of the work (the full audit, two fixes done for you, and a before/after re-test) for £99 instead of £149. In return: permission to publish your results as a case study.

The proof this is built on
We checked 28 UK contractor & IR35 firms. Most are near-invisible to AI, and they don't know it.
Before we sell you anything, here's the first-party data behind the offer. The contractor cut of our 93-firm study, run with the same audit method we'll run on your firm.
// Renownly research · 28 UK contractor/IR35 accountants · 3 Jun 2026. A convenience sample (n=28), reported exactly as measured, every limitation stated. Foundations readiness, not a live ranking. Schema/FAQ figures are over the 21 firms whose homepage we could read; the fetch figure is over the full 28.
The founding deal, stated plainly
A fair trade: more work for less money, in exchange for proof we can show.
We're new and building our track record. The honest way to do that is to give the first firms more than they pay for, and ask only for permission to publish what we did. Both sides, in full:
// What you get for £99
The full audit, plus done-for-you fixes
- ✓The full AI Visibility Audit. eight high-intent IR35 & contractor queries tested across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, each run five times, plus a foundations check (Google Business Profile, schema, reviews, listings).
- ✓A 6–10 page plain-English report and a 20-minute walkthrough: where you stand, who's winning your queries, and the three highest-impact fixes, ready to hand to your web person.
- +Two quick-win fixes implemented for you, not just found. Typically the accounting-business schema and a key-page or FAQ fix, done so you're not the one guessing.
- +A before/after re-test 4–6 weeks later. We run the same queries again and show you what moved, reported honestly whether it improved or not.
- +Founding-member status: preferential pricing held for you, and first sight of The 2026 UK Contractor-Accountant AI-Visibility Report.
Standard price for the audit alone is £149. The two implemented fixes and the re-test are founding-only extras, so the £99 is below cost as a fair trade, not a sale.
// What we ask in return
Permission to show what we did
- →Permission to publish a before/after case study, where you choose anonymised or named (default: anonymised, e.g. "a Leeds-based IR35-focused practice").
- →A short, honest testimonial (2–3 sentences) once you've seen the work.
- →A brief feedback form so we sharpen the product for the firms that follow.
- →Consent to include your anonymised query results in the benchmark dataset.
You can withdraw case-study permission any time before we publish. The audit work stands regardless. We can't and don't guarantee any AI engine will mention or recommend you. Nobody honestly can.
Why "first 10" is a real number
Genuine scarcity. No countdown clock.
The cap is real because the work is deep.
Each founding audit includes two fixes we implement for you and a re-test 4–6 weeks on. That's hands-on work, and we can only do it properly for about ten firms while we build the first contractor-accountant benchmark. So the number is a genuine constraint, not a marketing line.
That means no countdown timer, and no "3 spots left" banner unless we are literally tracking a real, true number. When the founding places are filled, the £99 price closes and new firms move to the standard £149 audit, which is still the same engine, on the page, with no lock-in.
If you'd like to know how many founding places are currently open, just ask when you enquire. We'll tell you the honest figure.
Is this you?
An honest qualifier. The founding cohort is narrow on purpose.
The benchmark only works if every firm in it genuinely specialises in contractor and IR35 work. So we're upfront about who this is for, and who it isn't.
A good fit if
- You're a UK Ltd or LLP accountancy firm, typically 3–25 people.
- You genuinely specialise in contractors, IR35 or limited-company (PSC) clients, and it's a real part of how you market the firm.
- You'd value dated evidence of where you stand in AI answers, and two fixes done rather than just listed.
- You're comfortable with a permissioned case study (anonymised is fine) as the trade for the lower price.
Not the right fit if
- You're a sole trader or general high-street practice with no contractor/IR35 focus. The standard free Snapshot is a better start.
- You want a guarantee that AI will recommend you. We can't and won't give one.
- You'd rather not have your results published in any form, even fully anonymised.
How a founding place works
Evidence first. Then the fixes. Then proof of what moved.
No long sales calls. You see proof before you spend anything, and a clear before/after at the end.
Free Snapshot
Start with the free 2-query Snapshot and tell us you're a contractor/IR35 firm. We confirm founding places in order of enquiry, up to the cap. No card.
The full audit
Once your place is confirmed and the one-off £99 is paid, we test eight IR35 queries across all four engines and check your foundations. Your report and 20-minute walkthrough follow within about 5 working days of your intake. That's a little longer than the standard 48-hour audit, because founding places include the hands-on fixes below.
Two fixes, done
We implement two of the quick-win fixes for you (typically schema and an FAQ or key-page fix) so the foundations are actually in place, not just recommended.
Re-test at 4–6 weeks
We run the same queries again and show you what changed. If it moved, that's the headline. If it didn't, we tell you straight, and the case study leads on the clarity and the fixes.
Who's behind it
You're dealing with a real, named person.
No faceless agency, no offshore team. The founding cohort exists because we're building proof, so it matters that you know exactly who is doing the work.
PENDING
Saul Davis, Renownly
I run Renownly. I'll personally run your audit, implement the two fixes and walk you through what I found. I'll tell you straight if the re-test doesn't move. We're new, and I'd rather say so than oversell: the proof is in your hands as a dated audit you can check yourself, not a sales deck.
Questions
The honest answers.
Is the £99 Founding Audit fake scarcity or a discount gimmick?
No. The cap is genuinely about ten contractor/IR35-focused firms because each founding audit is done in depth, with the full audit plus two fixes implemented and a re-test, and we can only do so many properly while building our first benchmark for this specialism. There's no countdown timer and no "2 spots left" theatre. When the places are filled, the founding price closes and you move to the standard £149 audit.
What exactly do you ask for in return?
Permission to publish a before/after case study, anonymised by default (e.g. "a Leeds-based IR35-focused practice") or named if you'd rather, plus a short 2–3 sentence testimonial, a brief feedback form, and consent to include your anonymised query results in our benchmark dataset. You can withdraw case-study permission any time before we publish; the audit work stands regardless.
Can you guarantee AI will recommend my firm after the fixes?
No, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does. AI assistants are run by third parties on systems that change without notice. We show you exactly where you stand today across the four engines, implement two quick-win fixes, and re-test 4–6 weeks later so you see what moved, reported honestly either way. We report and advise; we don't promise rankings, leads or revenue.
How is this different from the standard £149 audit?
Same engine, more work. Every firm can buy the standard audit (the full test across four engines, the report and the 20-minute walkthrough) for £149. The founding cohort gets that plus two fixes implemented for them and a 4–6 week re-test, for £99, because the lower price and the extra work are the fair trade for letting us publish the case study.
Who is the Founding Audit for?
UK accountancy firms that genuinely specialise in contractors, IR35 or limited-company (personal service company) clients, set up as a limited company (Ltd) or LLP, typically 3–25 people. It's not for general high-street practices or sole traders; the benchmark is specifically for the contractor/IR35 niche. If that's not you, the free Snapshot is still open to everyone.
